I say, bring the noise! Alber Elbaz‘s capsule collection for Swedish retailer H&M is out and kicking ass. Supermodel Irina Lazareanu is featuring all the photos as the image of the collection and I totally agree that no one could have dealt better with it. She’s young but-no-so-newcomer-ish anymore, she’s bold and stunning with that new super feminine haircut, that detaches her from the rock geek chic past alure and delivers her to the world as a refined and velvety young woman. She’s serious, but she plays, she’s bad, but she’s curious, she’s quirky but she’s oh so c l a s s y. I actually think they will break the ice with this, so different from all the previous Sonia Rykiel, Comme des Garcons or Jimmy Choo (why?! I still wonder) meet Hennes und Mauritz.
To be good and stop my endless committed chit-chatness, I just have to say that there are 30 garment pieces followed by 15 different accessories, from patent shoes, hats, jewelry and even lipstick. Draped lbd-s and zebra prints, followed by Lanvin classic prints and shapes, they are all IN there. I know nothing of the prices whatsoever, but here we go:
The collection is scheduled to become available in US and Canadian shops starting November 20 and November 23 for the rest of the world.
